About the role
We are looking for a strategic leader to join our team as People Lead, who oversees all processes and programs that support our employee experience and development. This role works directly with company leadership to bring our brand vision, values, and operating principles to life on a daily basis.
The People Lead will report to the CEO and their tasks shall include enhancing our culture, attracting talent and creating an environment where everyone can do their best work. You will be a passionate, up and coming People Lead overseeing all processes and programs that support our employee experience.
You will develop individuals and help scale the organisation to help make Puraffinity a top-tier employer. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the development and implementation of people strategies that are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives
- Coach leaders on People related issues and initiatives
- Develop and implement our Compensation Philosophy to support organisational growth
- Advise executive leadership on organisational development, succession planning, etc., ensuring alignment of cross-functional resources and activities
- Provide and develop unique sourcing strategies and an authentic, positive candidate experience for active and passive applicants
- Use knowledge, market insights, numbers and analysis to refine the talent acquisition process across the whole company
- Support the team with the creation and implementation of company culture initiatives, including; employee engagement surveys and our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion efforts
- Fully embody and demonstrate Puraffinity’s culture
- Develop and coordinate work experience/internship & gap year programmes
- Mentoring junior staff as required.
About You:
- Exposure to growing a strategic People function with a proven track record in a high-growth environment
- Highly adaptable; able to thrive with ambiguity and change
- Commercially minded—you look for solutions that work both short- and long-term, and you don’t get bogged down by doing things “by the book”
- Experience in owning an end-to-end hiring cycle from creatively sourcing through to assessment and supporting the team through to the close
- A natural ability to collaborate well with others across the organisation and thrive in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment
- Low-ego leadership style, always asking what you can do to make the team more successful
- You will take your work seriously yet still appreciate it’s a good thing to have fun along the way
